Product-recall mass outreach with remediation
A recall lands at 9am, and by lunch every customer who bought the affected lot has heard from you directly — with their own next step, not a press release.
What it does
A recall or safety notice is a race against both risk and reputation. Every affected customer has to be reached fast, told plainly what to do, and walked through repair, return, or replacement — and a generic blast neither identifies who is actually affected nor moves anyone through to a resolved outcome. Done by hand it overwhelms the contact centre on the worst possible day; left slow it becomes a liability and a trust problem. The agent runs the outreach at recall scale across voice and digital, pinpoints affected customers by SKU, lot, or order, and guides each one individually through their remediation path — so the response is fast, compliant, and personal rather than a notice nobody acts on.
How it works
- 1Trigger. a recall or safety event is declared for a specific product, lot, or batch, with the remediation options and the regulated notice language attached.
- 2Decision. the agent resolves the exact affected cohort from order and lot data, then per customer picks the right channel and the correct remediation (repair, return, or replacement) given what they bought and how; every message carries the mandated recall wording and passes the judge before it goes out.
- 3Action. it reaches each customer on the channel they answer — voice for urgent or high-risk cases, SMS, email, or push for the rest — names the affected item, states the safety instruction clearly, and books the repair, generates the return, or ships the replacement in the same conversation.
- 4Follow-through. each customer's status (notified, acknowledged, remediated) is logged for the compliance record; non-responders are re-contacted on a defined cadence; safety-critical questions or distressed customers escalate to a human, and the whole outreach is auditable end to end.
