About the Role

We are hiring Software Engineers to build and scale the Mentiora platform — the stack enterprises use to deploy production-grade AI agents safely. You will work on high-performance backend systems, customer-facing dashboards, and the infrastructure that powers quality, safety, and continuous improvement for AI running at customer scale.

You'll work directly with a founding team of senior engineers from Google DeepMind, Google, Zalando, and JetBrains. As an early hire, you'll have high autonomy and visibility, and play a central role in product, research, and engineering strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with our customers to deploy and tailor the Mentiora platform to their business.
  • Design and build scalable infrastructure and deploy it in customer environments:
  • Backend systems and data pipelines powering quality, safety, and continuous improvement of AI agents
  • Customer-facing apps and dashboards that turn quality and safety signals into action
  • Implement APIs and integrations with LLM providers, CX applications, and cloud environments our customers run on
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across all platform components
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to productionize research findings
  • Example tasks
  • Build matrix-experiment tooling for running evaluation and safety jobs across customer deployments.
  • Extend the job runner to new customer cloud environments.
  • Ship new custom judges and safety guardrails from research prototype to production across customer deployments.
  • Build a new analytics surface on the customer-facing dashboard to expose quality signals and failure patterns.
  • Partner with a customer to bootstrap golden datasets and evaluation pipelines for their agents.
  • Add a new integration or channel (CX app, voice, email) to extend the agent's reach.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python for building APIs and working with SQL
  • Strong proficiency in frontend development with TypeScript and React
  • Experience building full-stack applications with modern frameworks like Next.js
  • Solid knowledge of databases (Postgres), SQL, and data access toolkits like Prisma
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with AI/ML systems or developer tools
  • Experience working with AI/ML libraries and frameworks in Python
  • Background in building high-scale, low-latency systems
  • Experience with observability and monitoring systems
  • Previous experience at a fast-growing startup
