Outbound prospecting with human send

The agent researches the prospect, writes the outreach, and runs the cadence; a person presses send where a person should.

What it does

Your sales team spends most of its outbound hours not selling but preparing to sell: researching accounts, drafting first-touch emails, remembering who to follow up with and when. The good prospects go cold while the list backlog grows. This agent does the preparation end-to-end. It researches each prospect, drafts personalized email and LinkedIn-style outreach, and schedules the follow-up cadence. For the channels where an unsupervised bot should not press send, it assembles the complete package and queues it for one human click. Think driver assists on the road to full self-driving: the agent does the work, your team keeps the wheel.

How it works

  1. 1
Trigger. a new prospect enters the target list, or a cadence timer fires on an existing thread (no reply after N days, a meeting that needs confirming).
  2. 2
Decision. the agent researches the account and contact, pulls what memory already holds about prior touches, and drafts the message plus the next steps of the cadence. A quality judge reviews every draft before it reaches the queue.
  3. 3
Action. on channels approved for autonomous send, the email goes out from your own sending domain. Everywhere else, the rep gets a ready-to-send package, draft, context summary, and reasoning, and approves with one click.
  4. 4
Follow-through. replies route back into the agent's thread for qualification or hand-off to the rep; if the prospect converts, replies, or unsubscribes mid-cadence, every queued message for them is cancelled before it sends.
Example
Agent (to rep)Ready to send: intro email to the Head of Ops at a logistics company that just posted a wave of customer-support openings. Angle: hiring spike suggests ticket-volume pain. Follow-ups drafted for later this week and early next. Approve?
RepApproved, but soften the second follow-up.
AgentDone. Sending the intro now; the second follow-up is rewritten and re-queued. I'll flag you the moment there's a reply.

Configuration

How the agent is wired for this use case.

Triggera new prospect enters the target list, or a cadence timer fires on an existing thread (no reply after N days, a meeting that needs confirming) — both sourced from the CRM.
Tools & actions
  • CRM · reads the target-account list and prior-touch history; writes back replies, outcomes, and stage changes
  • Knowledge base · pulls account and contact research plus ICP and messaging guidelines to ground the draft
  • Messaging channel · sends the approved email from your own sending domain on autonomous channels
  • Approval workspace · queues the ready-to-send package (draft, context, reasoning) for the rep's one-click approval
Autonomyresearch, drafting, and cadence scheduling run unattended behind a quality judge on every draft; designated channels require human approval before send, and any reply, conversion, or unsubscribe cancels every queued message for that prospect.
Channelsemail · chat
Escalationreplies route back into the thread for qualification, and a qualified or designated-channel prospect is handed to the rep for the send and the conversation.

What you need

The inputs this use case runs on. Your channels stay yours; the agent supplies the judgment.

Signals

prospect-list additions, reply/no-reply events, cadence timers, meeting-booked events

Data

target-account list, contact details and consent state, prior-touch history, your ICP and messaging guidelines

Guardrails

judge review of every draft; human approval required on designated channels; suppression lists and opt-out honored across the whole cadence; stale sends cancelled on any reply or status change; you keep owning the send channels

Metrics it moves

  • reply-rateup, because every first touch is researched and personalized instead of templated
  • meetings-bookedup, as cadences actually complete instead of dying after touch one
  • pipeline-createdup, with the same headcount working a much larger list
  • conversion-rateup on worked prospects, since follow-up timing stops depending on rep memory
